Hand Sanitizers

Washing your hands with soap and water are the most effective ways to limit transmission of pathogens.  It is important to use soap and water when your hands are visibly dirty.

If soap and water are not available, hand sanitizers with at least 60%  acohol can be effective.

To make your own hand sanitizer:

    USP instructions
​    WHO instructions

Easy instructions:
1 part aloe vera gel or glycerin  (1/3 cup)
2 parts isoproply rubbing alcohol 91%  (2/3 cup)
Mix thoroughly and store in an airtight container
